Here are
4 sets with the cards (with just images, capital letters, small letters
and the full set). The ful set contains some cards from the other ones
just to save paper. I have used the word "Ukraine" to represent the
letter U, but you can easily edit that ( just choose the "Ungroup"
option). Print, cut and laminate the cards if you want them to last
longer. There are lots of great ideas for learning the alphabet on Activity Village website. abc flashcards - full set - abc flashcards - pictures - abc flashcards - capital letters - abc flashcards - small letters -
There are 3 different tasks in the worksheet. First students read the fairy tale and fill in missing words (it's a follow up activity for my online exercise where they can watch the video: Snow White Video Activity ). After that students are given 24 past simple sentences about Snow White and they are to make questions to the underlined parts of the sentences, match them with the pictures and, finally, make negative sentences. P.S.: The video has disappeared from You Tube , but students can still watch it here.
Students roll a die and name the pronoun they land on. If
it's a picture, they say which pronoun it represents and find it on the
board. If it's a word, they read it and show the corresponding picture.
The pictures where two people (or animals) are hugging each other mean
"WE". There can be many other ways to use the game - just follow your
imagination.
This
is a board game for elementary students to practise the articles. You'll
need a die and counters to play it. Students roll the die and name the
article that should be in the sentence they land on. Sometimes no
article is needed. If the answer is wrong they move one space backwards.
You can invent your own rules :-)
